幸い我が家には目立った被害はなく、車庫上の波板が少し崩壊したのと（飛んで行きはしませんでした。ホッ）、植木たちが潮風でヘナヘナになってしまったことぐらいです。「植物＋潮風」って、まさに「青菜に塩」といった感じで、玄関脇のアロハな植え込みは、野菜の塩もみ？それともおひたし？のようにクタクタです。ま、仕方がありませんね。
それよりびっくりしたのが、いろいろなものの復旧の早さ。今朝はかなり早い時間から、高所作業車やハシゴを積んだバンを道路のあちこちで見かけました。倒れかけた電柱や垂れ下がる電線、傾いた看板などを直してくださったりしているんですね。我が家の目の前にあるカーブミラーも、180度近くミラーの向きが回転してしまっていたのですが、今日のお昼過ぎには直っていました。作業員の皆様に本当に感謝！です。
Great! Usually we have such a nice weather after typhoon. However we don't have typhoons, as in signal no. 8, this year in Hong Kong.

返信削除Yes~ We were safe. I just worried a lot about the glass of the windows every time when typhoon comes. When NESAT has gone, NALGAE is approaching. Typhoons are all late for this year. It's almost October.

返信削除By the way, in Hong Kong do you call typhoon by its name? In Japan typhoon is usually called its serial number (for example, "No.19"). It's interesting for me!
Yes, together with the northeast monsoon. It's getting cooler and windy.
返信削除We call them by name with a signal number which indicates its level. At typhoon signal no. 8, we don't need to go to school and work.
From the first comment of this post, I said there's no typhoon #8 to the year and just a week later there it comes 2 in a row. LOL. *touch wood*
